Platform Architect

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Platform Architect to assist in the on-site integration of expansive data platforms for the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM). This role is part of a substantial initiative to modernize and integrate their Unified Platform (UP), a cloud-based infrastructure that connects various cyber capabilities across the JCWA, enabling comprehensive cyberspace operations. The successful candidate's main responsibility will be crafting platform architecture using industry best practices to effectively meet current and future needs. This includes creating justifications for chosen approaches and presenting them to both technical and non-technical audiences. This position is located in San Antonio, TX or Colorado Springs, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement platform architecture according to best practices and standards, ensuring repeatable deployments across various stages (development, staging, production)
• Select appropriate technologies approved for DoD environments and integrate them into the architecture
• Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and enhance system architecture for optimal performance
• Devise and implement cybersecurity strategies within the architecture to address potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Convey engineering best practices clearly to diverse groups of individuals

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a Software or Systems Engineer, including at least 2 years in an Architect role.
