Opportunity overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to enable the exchange and integration of healthcare information between payers and providers at scale. Success in this role will enable practices to dispense with the fax machine and utilize interoperable communication channels fitting for the 21st century, where patients receive the best care with no friction.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and systems to promote FHIR adoption and interoperability
• Lead with a partnership first model to build relationships with EMR developers and health system IT teams
• Act as a interoperability standards evangelist both internally and industry wide, promoting its benefits and best practices
• Represent the organization at interoperability related events and conferences
• Collaborating with technical teams to implement and test interoperability solutions, including APIs and message queues.
• Operational responsibility for interoperability programs broadly to ensure services are delivered with a high degree of quality and accuracy. 

Your background and characteristics:

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare interoperability, with a focus on FHIR
• Proven ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities related to healthcare interoperability and FHIR
• Hands on experience with CRD, PAS and DTR implementations
• Experience with software development lifecycles and related tools (e.g., bug trackers, software repositories, and code testing frameworks, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent and explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
