• Implement Strategic UX Overhauls: Partner with Design to execute high-impact projects such as overhauling company-wide interaction patterns standardizing templates or re-imagining dynamic customer journeys.
• Build Foundational Design Patterns: Engineer update and maintain reusable components and patterns that accelerate feature delivery for all product teams.
• Contribute to the Design System: Ensure new and updated patterns are scalable performant and contributed back to our internal design systems for global use.
• Explore "North Star" Concepts: Pair directly with designers to explore future-state "North Star" proposals building prototypes in both Figma and code to validate ideas and inform future roadmaps.
• Targeted UX enhancements: Triage prioritize (with design) and rapidly fix small enhancements polish items and bugs reported by customers and internal teams.
• Add Polish and Enhancements: Elevate the user experience by adding thoughtful microinteractions and polish to components and core workflows.

• 4+ years of experience in a hybrid Design Engineer UI Engineer or Frontend Engineer role with a strong design focus.
• Expertise in building modern scalable and responsive UI applications using React TypeScript and advanced CSS.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to translate complex design concepts (Figma Sketch etc.) into high-quality pixel-perfect code.
• Hands-on experience building maintaining or contributing to a component library or design system (e.g. using Storybook).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively with designers and product managers to scope work and find scalable solutions.
• A pragmatic and product-oriented mindset capable of balancing technical debt design intent and development velocity.

• Experience with UX prototyping and iterating in both high-fidelity (Figma) and code-based tools.
• A keen eye for motion design and experience implementing subtle microinteractions and animations.
• Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG) and building inclusive interfaces.
• Experience working on large-scale platform-level products used by multiple teams.
• Ability to triage and prioritize a backlog of small enhancements and bugs based on impact and effort.
