Position Summary

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of and has experience using RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate, working with our cloud platform team, will develop and deliver automated smoke tests using Postman and Newman and hooking these tests into our DevOps pipelines as deployment checkpoints. The platform makes it easy for our internal clients (Mobile and Web) to create personalized imaging products that can be fulfilled in-store in hours or mailed directly to their home through central lab in days. You will learn a lot work closely with the team to design, develop and test complex application software in a modern development environment using Agile Develop techniques and processes.

The individual will work on-site in our Rochester, NY office.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop Automated API Tests using Postman.
• Enable system deployment utilizing DevOps best practices.
• Update pipelines to use test results to determine goodness and readiness to deploy code.
• Create Postman Monitors to show build/test status results

Job Requirements

Qualifications Experience
• Knowledge and experience with restful APIs.
• Understanding of DevOps practices.
• Experience automating and testing cloud solutions to verify deployment readiness. (Postman, Advanced Rest Client other tools).
• Experience with Microsoft technologies (Visual Studio .Net, C#, CosmosDB, NuGet, and SQL).
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Great communication skills, work ethic and willingness to be a team player
• Working on obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.

Skills Competencies
• Cloud computing knowledge with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• C#, NodeJS, WCF, HTTP/HTTPS, REST, JSON, XML
• Git, NuGet, Microsoft DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Database systems SQL, NoSQL, CosmosDB
