ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a fully remote, full-time role for an experienced platform engineer comfortable working for a rapidly growing Series-A startup. You'll work on challenging projects involving cloud architecture, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. At HiddenLayer our services are written in Go and are fully containerized running on multiple Kubernetes clusters deployed with ArgoCD. We also value and use other CNCF FOSS software such as Prometheus, Thanos, and Fluentd/Fluentbit.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize containerized applications using Docker.
• Collaborate with development teams to create seamless CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
• Manage and improve existing AWS infrastructure and explore opportunities to integrate with Azure for multi-cloud capabilities.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps, cloud security, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a timely manner.

WHO YOU ARE:

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for CI/CD pipelines and source code management.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud security.
• Proven track record of building and managing production-grade cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environ
