Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you will lead the management of numerous platforms, tools, and services. You will participate in managing a diverse set of technologies serving as the foundation of our Software-as-a-Service offerings. You will apply your broad technical expertise to improve service availability, scalability, and reliability.
Starting base pay for this role is between $97,000 and $122,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities

• Leads administration of IAM and Directory Services
• Maintains Cloud EDR solutions.
• Administers and evolves customer-facing file transfer solutions.
• Assists with lifecycle management of Operating Systems.
• Maintains Anti-virus solutions.
• Administers DNS services.
• Conducts email systems and services administration.
• Executes and enhances data retention programs.
• Participates in Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
• Leads ongoing management and evolution of Filesystem platforms.
• Ensures scalability, recoverability, and performance of platform services.
• Manages an evolving constellation of SaaS solutions.
• Influences cloud strategy and service evolution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SRE, System Engineer, or Platform Engineer experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of IAM including AWS IAM and Windows Active Directory
• Knowledge of SFTP, AWS Transfer, and AWS S3
• Experience with DNS systems including SecDNS.
• Knowledge of email systems including reputation management, DKIM, and SPF records management
• Experienced in SaaS operations.
• Prior experience with Public Cloud operations (AWS strongly preferred)
