What we’re looking for

Massive Rocket a global Martech agency specializing in Braze and Snowflake is looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join our growing team. We work with clients across the U.S. U.K. and European Union delivering cutting-edge marketing technology solutions.

Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Management : Design implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure.

- Platform Development : Develop and improve our Kubernetes-based platform using tools like Helm Rancher and ArgoCD.

- CI/CD Optimization : Enhance and maintain our CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.

- Monitoring and Observability : Implement and manage monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus Grafana Jaeger Loki and OpenTelemetry.

- Security : Ensure platform security by implementing and managing security tools and best practices including Keycloak Azure KeyVault and ZeroSSL.

- Incident Response : Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents using PagerDuty.

- Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate platform solutions.

- Documentation :  Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform architecture processes and procedures.

Experience

- Cloud Expertise : 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure (compute storage networking security).

- Kubernetes Proficiency: Extensive experience with Kubernetes including cluster management deployment strategies and resource optimization.

- Infrastructure as Code : Strong skills in Terraform for managing infrastructure.

- CI/CD Mastery : Proven ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.

- Monitoring and Observability : Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana Jaeger Loki and OpenTelemetry.

- Security Best Practices : Understanding of security principles and experience implementing security measures in a cloud environment.

- Containerization : Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

- Collaboration and Communication : Effective communicator and team player comfortable working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Agency experience : Experience working in an agency setting with clients

- English C1 Level : strong communication skills with professional level of proficiency in english

Bonus Skills and Experiences:

- Experience with Rancher and ArgoCD.

- Experience with Keycloak and Azure KeyVault.

- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g. Istio).

- Experience in the healthcare or medical industry.

- Familiarity with compliance standards like HIPAA.

- Contributions to open-source projects.
