Job Description
At Flexcar, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help build functional systems that improve customer experience we are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with a deep background in DevOps.
This experienced Platform Engineer will have an opportunity to build a cloud environment from scratch using the latest tools and processes. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, along with CI/CD and Monitoring and Observability tools are desirable.
Opportunity to have a massive impact on every aspect of the software development lifecycle.
Objectives of this role:- Building and deploying new infrastructure as code
- Automate and improve CI/CD processes
- Building tools to improve Developer Experience
- Automating repeated manual tasks
- Monitor and Notifications for system issues
- Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Working with software engineers to ensure that development teams follow established processes
- Planning out projects in ticket form for later consumption
- 5+ Years of Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Experience with Terraform
- Good knowledge of Python
- Desire to learn
- Problem-solving attitude
