Platform QA Engineer

TruU is a leading-edge product development company that specializes in building innovative solutions for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space. We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a high-performing development team as we build password-less identity products that seamlessly secure hundreds of thousands of enterprise end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications and password-less single sign-on experiences to ensure enterprise-grade quality 
• Identify usability and consistency improvements for the benefit of end users 
• Creatively identify and test failure conditions, edge cases, and user flows that are not necessarily defined in feature acceptance criteria 
• Track production bugs and collaborate with developers and QA teammates to improve development and testing processes 
• Participate in a scrum-based agile development process with global team members 

Requirements

• 2+ years performing manual and automated testing of web applications 
• Experience with application testing on Mac, Windows, iOS, and/or Android 
• Familiarity with user directory technologies like Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure), and Okta 
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with a global team 

Nice to Have

• Understanding of single sign-on concepts and familiarity with common protocols like SAML and OpenID Connect 
• Experience with programming, scripting, and/or test automation 
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot, Katalon Studio, Selenium WebDriver, etc. 
• Familiarity with cloud service providers, especially AWS 
• Familiarity with multifactor authentication systems
• Experience with common IT products and practices
