PS is comprised of four main businesses, underpinned by engineering, operations and risk management:

• Transaction Banking, a cash management and payments platform for clients building a corporate treasury system
• Enterprise Partnerships, consumer financial products that companies embed directly within their ecosystems to better serve their end customers
• Merchant Point-of-Sale Lending, a platform that provides custom credit financing for home improvement merchants to offer directly to their customers
• ETF Accelerator, a platform for clients to launch, list and manage exchange-traded funds

Our Impact

We are seeking a risk professional to support our Consumer Business Risk team. The team is responsible for first-line operational risk management across the Consumer businesses, including supporting new product and feature development, conducting risk assessments, identifying and managing issues, facilitating risk measurement and reporting and interacting with, and preparing responses to, regulators.

The successful candidate will:

• Work with business functions and cross-divisional stakeholders (e.g., technology, operational and vendor risk) to implement and enhance our issues management and risk event management frameworks for existing and emerging businesses
• Facilitate issue identification and effectively challenge stakeholders/accountable with respect to resolution and closure
• Identify and assess business risks and required controls, both periodically and in response to issues, emerging risks and business environment changes
• Review and provide recommendations regarding business processes associated with emerging or otherwise significant risks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
• 2+ years experience in retail consumer banking products (i.e. credit cards, point of sale financing, consumer loans), including knowledge of operational and compliance risk management and applicable regulatory requirements
• Ability to drive a culture of risk management and compliance, while balancing delivery of a best-in-class customer experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and counterparts across multiple functional area
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to drive multiple projects concurrently
• Proven ability to apply strategic thinking to complex organizational and business issues
