The Opportunity
The Platform Solutions Manager is responsible for successfully cultivating relationships with high-value prospects and winning new business opportunities for our digital marketing services. You have a passion for digital marketing, ad tech, and analytics and can easily communicate our value to large brands. The Platform Solutions Manager will work with both the publisher and sales teams, engaging with leading brands and media owners, and helping them solve their business challenges. You are not intimidated by uncertainty and pushback. You're equally comfortable with platform operations and implementation, whilst being an articulate storyteller and account management professional.  The Platform Solutions Manager will be expected to have extensive knowledge and experience in selling, delivering, and implementing solutions across Ad tech and Martech.

The Daily To-Do

  • This role is a mix of platform sales/account management platform integration and ongoing support for our retail and publisher partners.
  • Strategically maps an organization to understand who the key stakeholders are, and their motivations and independently creates a plan to move them through the sales and onboarding path
  • Facilitate the sales lifecycle from prospecting to demos to closing to renewals 
  • Confident and able to work with tech ops to manage platform integrations post-sale, working with key stakeholders to onboard them onto Kargo’s publisher and commerce platforms
  • Is customer-centric: wants what's best for the customer while maximizing value for the organization
  • Cultivates relationships post initial sale to oversee and manage integration, ongoing manage the partnerships and seek upselling opportunities.
  • Operates enthusiastically with a clear understanding of the company’s vision
  • Presents the company’s vision to brands and publishers, wins their trust, and becomes a trusted advisor
  • Identifies what services to stitch together to formulate a solution and clearly develops and delivers a story to convey
  • Drives SaaS and Services management of high-end, high-touch across major social platforms, META, Snap, etc with large value advertising propositions
  • Collaborates with other members of the Sales and Publisher team
  • Succinctly communicates the value of Kargo, SaaS, and Services solutions through chains of command across all levels of the organization

Qualifications : 

  • 4+ years of SaaS or Services AdTech/MarTech experience in a solution selling/support role
  • Experience in selling/working with social advertising solutions (Facebook/Meta, Pinterest, Snap, and TikTok)
  • Experience selling to retailers, grocery, and e-commerce brands is preferred 
  • Experience across advertising solutions and platforms (SSP, DSP, RMN, Ad Server)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage clients from pre-sale through implementation. Works through all buyer concerns, convinces a skeptical buyer, and manages objections and challenges
  • Understand how to cultivate a lead/account from the early stages right through to onboarding
  • Knows how to navigate complex organizations to evangelize Kargo Commerce’s value proposition to all necessary stakeholders
  • Should not be deterred by failure, is resilient and proactive. Has strong self-esteem and is unfazed by rejection
  • Experience in platform and ability to manage technical onboarding
  • Empathy, strong communication skills, and a deep respect for the power of collaboration
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical team members, both verbally and in writing
  • A learning mindset, regardless of level of experience
