In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing sales orders to ensure that delivery deadlines are met. You’ll support our VMWare sales team, both inside and outside representatives, by managing the quoting and ordering process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Quoting Orders: Pulling down quotes from the vendor portal and providing accurate quotes to our partners. This includes handling VMware/Broadcom quotes, entering data into X4A (Ingram Micro's proprietary platform), calculating pricing, and sending final quotes to partners.
  • Order Management: Working closely with sales management, sales reps, and customer service to process and update customer orders or change orders, ensuring that all details are correct.
  • Account Monitoring: Track overall account activity for your assigned group, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Dedicated Accounts (Future State): Over time and based on performance, you'll be assigned specific accounts or territories, allowing you to focus on building strong relationships and providing dedicated support.
  • Customer Interaction: When necessary, you’ll take orders from leads you've qualified and prepare product/license quotes for customers in the pre-sales phase.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Experience with Quoting: Proven experience in processing sales quotes and orders, including using CRM systems.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with computer operations, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience with ZenDesk is highly valued, as you'll use it to manage customer interactions.
  • Numerical Aptitude: Strong skills in mathematics and pricing calculations, ensuring accuracy in all quotes and orders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment, collaborating with sales reps and other departments.
