We’re actively seeking a talented Platform Support Lead to join the Underwriting & Life New Business Technology team in Newport Beach, CA or Lynchburg, VA.

• This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.

As a Platform Support Lead, you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by owning the support activities of our critical Underwriting platforms to ensure the reliability and availability of our systems for our Underwriting and New Business colleagues. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 20 people in the Consumer Markets division. Your colleagues will include Platform Leads, Platform Support Leads, IT Analysts and other Technology professionals.
How you’ll help move us forward:

• Regularly monitor systems to ensure they are running smoothly
• Handle incidents and issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement solutions to fix them
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including updates on incidents and system status

The experience you bring:

• 5+ years of experience working with application development and support teams
• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
• Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$86,850.00 - $106,150.00
