This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, platform engineering, and data-driven innovation within a mission-critical public safety technology environment. You will help shape and evolve the core data platform, analytics capabilities, and configurable workflow tools that enable public safety agencies to collect, manage, and act on operational data. Working in a highly collaborative, execution-focused setting, you will partner closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to translate complex needs into scalable product solutions. Your work will directly influence how agencies leverage data, reporting, and insights to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. You will also contribute to new initiatives involving configurable forms, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities. This is a high-impact role that balances strategic thinking with hands-on product execution in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
Accountabilities:
- Own and drive execution of the product roadmap across data platform, insights, and configurable forms initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Partner with engineering teams to define scalable platform capabilities, including APIs, integrations, data workflows, and infrastructure-adjacent product components.
- Gather and synthesize requirements from customers and internal stakeholders to shape reporting, analytics, and operational workflow solutions.
- Define and prioritize product backlogs based on customer needs, technical feasibility, and strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, sales, and go-to-market teams to support product launches, adoption, and implementation success.
- Contribute to the design of AI-enabled insights, automation features, and enhanced workflow experiences across the platform.
- Balance new feature development with platform reliability, performance, and scalability improvements to ensure a stable product foundation.
- 4–7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager building and delivering complex software products, ideally in enterprise SaaS or platform environments.
- Strong experience working with engineering teams on technical systems such as data platforms, APIs, integrations, or infrastructure-related products.
- Deep understanding of data-driven products, analytics systems, workflow platforms, or configurable enterprise software solutions.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical and customer requirements into clear product direction and actionable execution plans.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, customer success, and go-to-market teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Data-informed mindset with strong product judgment and customer-centric decision-making skills.
- Familiarity or interest in applying AI and automation to improve workflows and user experiences.
- Background in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, and driving execution end-to-end.
