Player Development Coordinator
Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Player Development Coordinator is to assist Guests and Casino Executives with all reservations and every aspect of the guests stay. This position provides upbeat, personalized service from first guest contact until the reservations (s) completion for all shows, restaurants and room accommodations etc. located within MGM Resorts International properties utilizing a "One Call Resolution" mentality. This position captures all relevant information for opportunities to promote the benefits of M life.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests on phone, establish rapport, and provide excellent service by answering questions, resolving disputes and adhering to guest requests.
- Assist guests with booking and changing reservations and/or reservation inquiries.
- Issue complementary amenities based upon specific casino guidelines for levels of play.
- Assist casino hosts, VIP, Players Club, Box Office and other departments with information regarding casino guests.
- Protect the confidentiality of all company files and documents under their immediate control.
- Proactively resolve any guest issue that arises, including the coordination of departmental assistance when necessary.
- Arranges and coordinates all time-sensitive documents, travel arrangements and marketing trip resolutions
- Ensures all promotional campaigns are configures in the player tracking and hotel systems
- Ensures employees are in compliance with company and legal regulations and policies, including licensing (Gaming Registration)
- Assists the Player Development Analyst in compiling, preparing and distributing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual Player Development reports
- Assists in the creation and development of all Player Development literature and promotions
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of relevant experience
PREFERRED:
- At least one year of Casino Marketing, VIP Services, Front Desk, or Concierge experience.
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
