The Opportunity:

Factorial Energy is seeking an experienced PLM Engineer to help lead Factorial Energy in the transition from R&D to Production in the area of Design Documentation, Configuration Management and Change Management. The person in this role will need excellent leadership and communications skills, be experienced with PLM/PDM system selection, implementation and management, and be comfortable interacting with external vendors, internal users and senior management.

In this role, you will:

• Implement and manage an enterprise wide PLM/PDM System.
• Lead the development of system requirements and specifications
• Research available options and make selection recommendations based on technical and economic tradeoffs.
• Lead the installation, implementation and associated user and system administration training
• Oversee ongoing management and maintenance of the documentation database
• Lead development and implementation of the Engineering, Design and Manufacturing documentation system, including release and change control management
• Lead the development of Release and Change Management standard procedures and training materials
• Lead or coordinate new user training

 We are looking for people with:

• +BS degree in Engineering or related technical field
• +3 years experience, ideally including experience as CAD system administrator.
• Hands on experience with implementing and/or managing commercial Enterprise level PLM/PDM software tools
• Experience administrating 3D CAD/CAE software tools, Solidworks preferred
