Plumber Apprentice

Responsibilities • Install and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. • Install, maintain, and repair chilled water systems and associated plumbing in commercial buildings. • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cooling towers, ensuring optimal system performance. • Work with cast iron piping to complete installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance with precision. • Install and repair copper lines, including making precise offsets to navigate around discrepancies or obstacles. • Use your expertise to create pipe offsets and workarounds when faced with difficult layouts or misalignments. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project efficiency. • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. What We’re Looking For: • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a commercial plumber, with expertise in chilled water systems, cooling towers, cast iron piping, copper lines, and pipe offsets. • Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting chilled water systems and cooling towers. • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cast iron piping installations and repairs. • Proficiency in working with copper lines, including making accurate offsets to navigate discrepancies and challenging layouts. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid plumbing license and relevant certifications (preferred). • Commitment to safety and adherence to plumbing codes and regulations. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
