Plumber - Service and Repair

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, operate power and hand tools, and perform heavy lifting as needed. The Plumber will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues. • Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary for integrated system installations. • Ensure compliance with safety standards during all plumbing operations. • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and any required repairs or adjustments. Requirements • Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and components. • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. • Experience using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks. • Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not essential. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
