Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management and estimating processes, as well as the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. The Estimator will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
• Utilize HeavyBid and Bluebeam software for efficient estimating and project management.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans that align with client expectations and company standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost control reports to monitor project budgets throughout the construction process.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in construction estimating.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Familiarity with cost control measures and strategies in the construction industry is a plus.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $74,767.00 - $82,036.00 per year
