Plumbing Helper

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the trade and develop their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working toward becoming a licensed plumber. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Work under the supervision of licensed plumbers to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. • Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for daily job assignments. • Learn to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve basic plumbing issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members. • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies. • Perform general labor duties, including cleanup of job sites, loading/unloading materials, and organizing tools. • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and supervisors. • Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required for licensing or certification. Qualifications: Required: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Interest in pursuing a career in plumbing. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment. • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions. • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
