About the Role: As a Plumbing Subcontractor, you will: • Perform high-quality plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential settings. • Handle tasks such as replacing or repairing faucets, toilets, valves, drains, water heaters, sump pumps, and minor pipework. • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and offer reliable solutions to clients. • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while completing projects safely, efficiently, and up to Handy Geeks' standards. • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members as needed on multi-scope projects. Requirements: • Licensed plumber or equivalent field experience required (residential plumbing work preferred). • Ability to perform a variety of plumbing tasks, including repairs, installations and troubleshooting. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to plumbing safety and code compliance. • Excellent communication and customer service skills when working directly with clients. • Must have a reliable vehicle and own plumbing tools. • Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and delivering high-quality workmanship. • All applicants must carry valid general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage under their own policy. Proof of coverage will be required prior to onboarding. Benefits: • We are hiring 1099 plumbing subcontractors on a project basis to join our team. • Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and project scope, with competitive rates offered for proven, high-quality work.
