Job Description
Summary
A PMO Director is responsible for developing and implementing PMO processes and policies, directing project management staff, and working with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. They also provide support to Project Managers/Scrum Leads on the execution and delivery of waterfall/agile projects within agreed timescales to Time, Cost and Quality
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in developing the organization's staff as well as Project Managers.
- Responsible to make sure that business priorities are being advanced and resources are in place to meet objectives.
- Responsible for establishing long-term strategic goals and plans to meet those goals for the PMO
Requirements:
- Four to seven years of related leadership experience.
Certification or course work in project management (i.e. CAPM, PMP)
