Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Apply project management methodologies and tools to track project progress and performance.
  • Foster and maintain solid relationships with collaborators, including senior leaders, business units, and external partners.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, providing clear and concise updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Proactively address project issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with resource managers to ensure the availability and optimal utilization of project resources.
  • Supervise and lead project budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of financial resources.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and follow regulatory requirements.
  • Implement standard methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to improve project delivery processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Solid experience in project management, with a consistent track record of leading strategic projects in a sophisticated, global organization.
  • Solid comprehension of project management methodologies, tools, and standard processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and social skills.
  • Ability to encourage and lead change across a matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages.
