Job Description

Kimberly-Clark's Aurora Program is a significant upgrade that will move our legacy SAP systems to the SAP S/4 platform, providing connected capabilities for the functions as well as foster a business transformation with re-engineered end-to-end processes (standardization). Business functions in scope include Supply Chain, Finance, Global Business Services and Digital Technology Solutions. Aurora will entail a multi-year financial (CAPEX, OPEX) and talent investment. Strong risk management and governance will be critical for this program, focusing on project and change management. The Aurora PMO Manager leads a team of program managers, project managers and scrum masters responsible for executing and deploying Aurora program.

Drive program success by successfully partnering with Aurora leaders on PMO priorities through effective planning, execution, measurement, and continuous improvement across Process, Enabling, DTS and the Partner teams

Role Accountabilities:

This position takes work direction from the Aurora PMO Director, Program Execution, working closely with the PMO Leadership and Global Aurora Leaders. The role will support PMO, business and functional leaders to develop actionable strategies that align with Aurora and Kimberly-Clark business goals:
  • Serve as an advisor, communicator, integrator, and collaborator in driving the Aurora PMO priorities and transformation agenda
  • Partners with Global Process Owners, DTS Leads, and SI Leads to drive project management structure, provide guidance, and help enabling teams execute
  • Establish linkages between process and enabling teams while driving risks, issues and dependencies to resolution
  • Leads talent identification, recruitment, and development for PMO Enabling Team, including setting and monitoring performance objectives, building skills and capabilities, mentoring, and providing development and career planning
  • Ensures effective alignment of program managers, project managers and scrum masters to Aurora enabling teams
  • Provide guidance and guardrails for the PMO Enabling teams to execute
  • Manages employee performance, including conducting recurring performance evaluations, soliciting performance feedback from business and IT partners.
  • Oversee development and management of the deployment and cutover plans while ensuring execution across Aurora projects
  • Lead or coordinate prioritized cross functional projects or operational initiatives on behalf of the PMO Leadership; assemble cross functional teams to drive critical outcomes
  • Support Aurora PMO Leadership, managing key stakeholder relationships & expectations across the Program, leveraging proper Communication & Risk Management techniques
  • Responsible for managing the budget and financial performance of the external resource pool for Project Managers and Scrum Masters
  • Travel may be required

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in financial, accounting, business management or technology field
  • Experience in leading complex projects locally, regionally and globally
  • Agile, innovative, and critical thinker with a good digital foundation & thought leadership
  • Experience in managing stakeholders across functions and locations
  • Good understanding of K-C organization & strategy, service delivery footprint and signature capabilities
  • Understanding of applicable methodologies and program/project management capabilities and K-C Ways of Working
