PMO Project Engineer

If you are a Project Management Professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting, hybrid opportunity for you! Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will serve as the primary technical contact to customers throughout the life cycle of Tier 2 and higher projects.

Focus is the technical and commercial engineering of solutions, proposals and subsequent execution of assigned PMO projects, and ensuring our contractual commitments are fulfilled. The Project Engineer works with customers on sizing, selecting and recommending flow and density equipment that matches application requirements.

In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Serve as the primary technical customer contact on assigned projects and accounts during all phases of the project life cycle and be the information resource for the PMO team.
• Apply PMO project methodology and standards to all projects; actively participate in the continuous development and implementation of PMO, ensuring local applicability and adoption.
• Be responsible for understanding and continuing to improve knowledge of Flow products, applications and industries.
• Assist in collecting accurate priority docs for customer submittal, followed by reviewing the customer documentation comments and create revisions when required.
• Stimulate the factory change order process to ensure maximum project value is realized.
• Review purchase order commercial and user documentation, checking for consistency/inconsistency between order, RFQ and bid package.
• Anticipate problems, facilitate solutions and address project issues in a timely manner with good team collaboration and excellent follow up with the customer.

For this Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience working with customers in a project, sales or inside sales capacity.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Project management experience
• PMP certification
• Experience in the process control industry
• Internship or Co-Op experience a plus
