PMO Support Analyst

The PMO Support Analyst is primarily responsible for the planning and execution of the department activities as a resource to the communities that plan and implement Governance, Portfolio and Project Management processes. This is one of the key roles in the Program Management Office department in terms of completing a lot of the detail needed to carry forward these processes. The role balances the discipline of managing the accuracy of the portfolio and project documentation & templates with the need for simplicity and clarity. This role also liaises very closely with many stakeholders and Information Services team members, customers within Cook and vendors. The role is responsible for key tasks such as the filtering of project requests, monitoring the status of the request, monitoring information in the application tools, assist in compilation of metric reporting, and the documentation & escalation issues, risks and critical path updates. The role supports key functions for projects and the IS organization including budgets, finances, and contracts.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience in Information Technology, preferred.
• 2-3 years working in the Health Care industry, preferred.
• Strong career aspirations in Information Technology business areas or project management.
• Strong skills in coordinating projects, organizing meeting schedules and deliverables in a project portfolio environment.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
