PO Administrator

The Purchase Order Administrator is responsible for applying P.O.s to the appropriate cases, preparing and sending outstanding P.O. reports. This position also assists in reporting and research of cases that are incomplete due to missing P.O.s, including rebilled cases, credited cases, and P.O.s entered but not processed. This position is responsible for reviewing POs for products, quantity, and prices and agreeing to the SRF and contracted pricing prior to inputting POs into our systems. As well as researching any discrepant POs to route to proper departments for resolution. Additionally, this position sends out weekly reports to sales personnel containing all sales that are missing the PO. This position supports compliance to applicable domestic and international regulatory medical device regulations such as Part 820, 1271, MDD 93/42/EEC, and ISO 13485:2003.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately applies the average number of P.O.s per day that meets the current department standards.

• Composes and sends outstanding PO reports to Sales Reps on a weekly basis to collect P.O.s. timely

• Communicates with sales, pricing, AR, and customers to adjust discrepant P.O.s and sales orders.

• Provides timely and accurate information to all customer and internal requests.

• Responsible for maintaining below average open PO report aging.

• Researches and resolves cases missing P.O.s due to incomplete submission, credited cases, and rebilled cases.

• Communicates with internal departments and external customers as appropriate.

• Maintains regular and consistent attendance, including adherence to shift schedule

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong Attention to Detail
• Error free and efficient 10-key data entry skills

• Experience with data entry; medical device purchase order / sales order experience a plus

• Proficient in MS word, Excel, and Outlook

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Available to work over-time when necessary

Education and Experience

• Minimum High School or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in data entry or order processing, preferably in the medical device and/or spine industry

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate's qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $20 to $28 Full-Time/Hourly Range
