Summary
This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL), Women's Bureau (WB), Office of Policy and Programs. The employee will serve as a subject matter expert on a variety of women's employment issues including research and policy analysis.

Conditions of Employment
- Must be at least 16 years old and a U.S. Citizen.
- Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
- Candidate required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.
- Subject to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting (FAC-C) to perform contract management activities and functions.
Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must demonstrate in the resume one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience includes:
Conducting research and policy analysis on employment barriers faced by women in the workforce, such as adequate childcare and paid leave; pay equity and the gender wage gap; occupational segregation; and adverse working conditions such as workplace harassment
-AND-
Participating in the development of major policy and program initiatives aimed at ensuring fair treatment of women within the labor force.
Education
This position has no education requirement and there is no substitution of education for specialized experience at this grade level. Applicants must possess the required specialized experience.
