Policy Owner Services Supervisor

Description

The POS Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of clerical and administrative support workers for Policy Owner Services.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the responsibilities of the policy owner services functions that include but are not limited to:
• Upgrading or downgrading policies
• Processing changes as needed to life insurance policies.
• Processing cash surrender to loans
• Processes and issues plan changes through letter, amendments, new policies, or riders
• Checks reports.
• Processes mail
• Processes name changes or beneficiary designation changes
• Updates score cards monthly and communicating changes yearly input RPT.
• Processes and leads team staying current within SLA.
• Assists team meetings.
• Trains and instructs employees in job duties.
• Responsible for POS audits and reviews
• Knowledge of all current product’s as well as products no longer in the sales portfolio and can answer inquiries about products.
• Consistently meets service standards with error ratio less than 2%
• Assigns and completes all reports.
• Supervises POS Service Associates and administrative staff.
• Works in a self-directed environment with responsibility to all teammates and associates.
• Works toward ease of business flow
• Other duties as assigned.                

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
• Three or more years’ experience in POS processing
• Previous health/life insurance experience preferred.
