Political Account Executive
Job Description
Choozle is looking for a Political Account Executive, to assist 2024 down ballot candidates, policy proposals, and the Political Action Committees that back them. This position will switch to yearly State Primaries and regular Account Executive scope after 2024. Politics will be the primary focus, with a return to several verticals at the end of the season. . The ideal candidate will have a positive and coachable attitude, an excitement to meet new people, drive to prospect and set meetings, and a history of hitting sales goals. As a Political Account Executive with our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our political initiatives and client engagements. In this role you will be responsible for managing and fostering relationships with key political stakeholders, including government officials, political organizations, advocacy groups and their agencies. Candidates should have experience in digital media and advertising but mandatory in politics and/or public affairs and have relationships with these stakeholders.Â
SALARY $70,000-$100,000 (50/50 Base to Commission Split) This range combines Account Executive and Sr. Account Executive salary. Choozle will also consider contract candidates for this position at negotiated rates.
LOCATION Must be located and authorized to work in the US. We do not currently offer sponsorships. If located in Denver, CO will be a hybrid schedule

WHO YOU ARE
- In depth knowledge of the political landscape, including legislative processes, policy development, and campaign strategies
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex political campaigns and initiatives
- Possess a passion for, and demonstrated success not only for selling but also for the sales process from prospecting and negotiating to closing new clients and bringing in new revenue
- Proven experience in sales and/or account management roles within the digital advertising ecosystem
- Ability to strategically build out new markets and prioritize high value opportunities that will have the greatest revenue impact
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment while demonstrating ability to work autonomously in a hybrid work environment.
- Solid organizational, communication, and presentation skillsÂ
- Expert negotiator and adept at overcoming objections
- Desire to be a visible and valuable team member and take pride in anticipating and meeting the needs of clients
- Experience selling digital advertising products to national and regionally focused prospect accounts
- Provides stellar customer service, in response times, accuracy, deliverables, building deep relations and consistently wowing the clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO IN YOUR CHOOZLE POSITION
- Create and implement comprehensive political campaign strategies, including messaging and outreach
- Monitor and analyze political trends, legislations, and policy development to provide timely insights and recommendations to clients.Â
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to clients and key stakeholdersÂ
- Manage the entire sales cycle; from prospecting new clients and selling programmatic digital advertising products to closing new business in your assigned region
- Produce and execute on quarterly market strategy plans to ensure all revenue and activity goals are achieved throughout the yearÂ
- Create effective outreach strategy in order to meet and exceed activity and revenue goals
- Present to a variety of key decision makers of various levels both at agencies and brands, from media planners to VPs and C-level executives
- Utilize Sales tools to track and manage your business including or similar to: Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, MediaRadar, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and othersÂ
