Porter - Custodial / Housekeeping Technician

Established senior living community seeks a dedicated and dependable individual to complete facility custodial, janitorial and housekeeping tasks. Completes all tasks needed to make the building clean and presentable to the public. Individual will: • Complete regular clean-up of public areas, facility and grounds. • Take responsibility for Facility Disinfection program ensuring all areas are properly disinfected as scheduled. • Clean carpets, windows, floors, patios and public areas. • Cleans and prepares common areas for events - setting up tables, chairs, furnishings and audio-visual equipment. • Assist other department staff as needed or assigned to move or transport furnishings and materials. • Assist Housekeeping staff with physically demanding tasks and deep cleaning assignments. • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor as needed and requested. Must have at least three (3) years porter, maintenance, custodial or cleaning experience. Must have ability to lift, push, pull, move up to 60 lbs and complete physically demanding tasks safely.
