GRAIL is seeking a Portfolio Analyst excited to oversee our project portfolio management processes, analyze portfolio information to inform decision-making, monitor portfolio metrics and continuously improve portfolio management practices.
This role is located at GRAILβs headquarters in Menlo Park, CA. It is a hybrid role in which you will work two (2) days a week onsite at headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Establish, create and manage business processes to support the project portfolio management lifecycle
- Oversee project intake process and support portfolio prioritization during financial planning cycles
- Manage and facilitate efficient working of all resource management processes
- Work with finance to provide resource budget information
- Utilize Workday Projects for portfolio data analysis and ensure data integrity of project and time tracking data within Workday Projects
- Analyze portfolio information and develop insights to ensure portfolios are aligned to strategy
- Maintain portfolio management process documentation and deliver training to new users
Preferred Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of cross-functional project, program or portfolio management experience
- Working knowledge of project and portfolio management practices
- Experience with project management tools, supporting resource and portfolio management
- Workday Projects or similar Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system experience (e.g. Planisware, Planview, etc.)
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to lead and influence without having positional authority
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Must have good interpersonal skills and experience building positive working partnerships
- Strong desire to collaborate with others
- The ideal candidate will also be familiar with the relevant domains of full lifecycle product development and/or laboratory operations.Β
- Life sciences experience is preferred
EDUCATION
- Bachelors with 2+ years of experience or a Masters with 1+ years of experience
- Project Management Professional or similar certification is a plus
- Six Sigma certification is a plus

The estimated, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $120,000 - $136,000. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location.Β
Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
