Our Warren, NJ office is looking for a Portfolio Consulting Analyst to partner with Advisor teams to communicate and provide the best investment options to clients. The role will have a focus on sales and service support and delivering educational content to advisors. This a great opportunity on a team focused on growth! (This role has a hybrid work opportunity for 2 days remote.)

The salary target for this role is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 depending on experience.

We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. Primary Job Functions

Work closely with our Advisor teams, serving as an expert on WEG offerings, providing guidance, education, and recommendations. 

  • Attend prospective client sales meetings as an investment strategy partner

  • Leverage and customize model portfolios based on client-specific goals and needs

  • Partner with Investment Strategies to provide market guidance and portfolio construction assistance

  • Produce presentations outlining research, capabilities, WEG viewpoints and product solutions

Collaborate with Investment Strategies to create both customized and general Advisor and client-facing materials to assist teams in the understanding and sales of our solutions. 

  • Partner with Investment Strategies to provide education around WEG investment options

  • Support Advisors in understanding and effectively communicating WEG’s Advisory value proposition

  • Create centralized Investment/financial options sales content, available to Advisors for client events and meetings

  • Share Investments best practices and effectively communicate important market and strategy developments proactively

Act as subject matter experts on the broad range of WEG’s client solutions, able to partner with Advisors and existing clients on reviews

  • Collaborate with key partner groups such as Advanced Planning and Insurance to effectively propose appropriate solutions outside of the portfolio, as needed

  • Perform strategic client reviews, ensuring appropriate implementation by Advisors

  • Act as a resource for the Advisor teams regarding portfolio and investment related questions

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field

  • CFP, CFA or CIMA a plus

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66

  • 4+ years’ experience in financial services industry, investments focus

  • Knowledge of financial markets, modern portfolio theory and asset allocation  

  • Proven written and verbal (presentation) communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and clients

  • Ability to create quality written presentations and articles for Advisor and client consumption

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects

  • Detail oriented, highly-organized and adaptable

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
