Portfolio Execution Lead - Agile Space / Advanced Technologies & Missions
Lead an execution team focused on delivering on non-traditional programs while simultaneously developing new teams, tools, and processes to support streamlined execution of those programs. The Agile Space/ATM portfolio consists of a wide variety of programs: from internally funded, to government funded, to commercially funded activities; from small seedling studies, to technology development, to production programs; all activities, regardless of size, hold strategic value for the growth of Ball Aerospace. This position supports the Agile Space Initiative and reports to the Advanced Technologies & Missions (ATM) business area within our National Defense (ND) Strategic Business Unit.
What You'll Do:

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Agile Space and ATM Execution team who are driving the creation of teams, tools and processes for execution of non-traditional work at Ball Aerospace.
• Work as a collaborative leader with the existing execution team to develop and own the Agile Space Execution Vision.
• Develop and implement an integrated and prioritized plan for reaching the Agile Space Execution Vision.
• Provide execution oversight and leadership support for portfolio of Agile Space and ATM programs including responsibility for cost and schedule performance, staffing, and program manager support and mentoring.
• Provide executive level communications of portfolio status and strategic value to executive leadership of National Defense and other stakeholder groups across Ball Aerospace.
• Coordinate regular Program Reviews of Agile Space and ATM portfolio with portfolio leadership.
• Provide regular status reporting of accomplishments and issues to ATM Director.
• Support the career growth, team health, and morale of the Execution Team while supporting coaching and mentoring activities.
• Participate as a member of the Agile Space/ATM Leadership team shaping the long term vision and near term priorities of the Agile Space/ATM team while maintaining a collaborative and creative culture.
• Support other tasks as needed to maintain progress and align with team goals.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need:

• BS/BA in related field plus 15 years or more related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US
• Department of Education.

Full-Time On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site full-time. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

A current DoD clearance and/or SCI access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position, however applicant must be willing and eligible for submission within 60-90 days after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access. Compensation & Benefits:

• HIRING SALARY RANGE: $171,000 - $235,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
• Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
