Portfolio Management Systems Product Support

In this role, you will act as a second level of support for our client-facing teams as well as a liaison to the development team for any bugs or potential enhancements. This will require knowing how to diagnose, judge the criticality, establish the scope, and solve of the issue in real-time as well as in depth front to back knowledge of the Portfolio Management System.

What You'll Do:

• Perform Fair Value analysis based on trade economic details for both listed and OTC products
• Advise clients in setting up Pricing/Valuation Configurations, combining real-time and snapshot market data sources, to provide accurate, Intra-Day and EOD P&L and Exposure Reports
• Construct VaR analysis reports based on client-specified confidence levels and volatility assumptions
• Construct scenario analysis reports based on variable risk factors
• Support Middle Office Operations, such as processing Corporate Actions, Position Transfers, Option Exercises, Futures rolls
• Support OTC Trading and Valuation, ensuring OTC Trade Tickets are booked correctly, and Pricing/Valuation Configurations match client expectations
• Support Front Office Traders to systematically adjust Position Exposures across Strategies, Funds, and Benchmarks by ensuring and testing the configuration of the system’s various calculation methodologies
• Identify issues and coordinate with Product Developers on new enhancements to benefit clients and optimize workflows

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree from and an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Additional experience in Mathematics or other high level quantitative experience is a bonus.
• Experience in supporting investment management software for Front, Middle, and Back operations or experience at an investment manager supporting Trading Operations, Middle Office Operations, Valuations, or Risk Management
• Understanding of Cost, P&L, NMV, and Exposure Calculations for Equities and Fixed Income Products
• Familiarity with OTC/Derivative Products (Listed Options, Futures, FX Products, etc)
• Organized, detail-oriented, superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to coordinate across various business units to develop and progress strategic initiatives
• Client-facing experience and experience handling client escalations is a strong bonus
