Major responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for trading, oversight, and the management of the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) portfolio at ACI.

• Work closely with the securitized team to identify relative value opportunities and generate buy/sell trade ideas to optimize portfolios and generate alpha.
• Present investment thesis and positioning to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with sell side firms, issuers, and other buy side participants.
• Influence the buildout of new technologies to facilitate portfolio management and underwriting processes.
• Focus on identifying and sourcing attractive investment opportunities for client portfolios, getting best-execution and conducting broader portfolio/market surveillance.
• Cover and monitor new issue and secondary markets, propose trade ideas and run bid lists, as needed.
• Conduct ongoing surveillance on existing holdings.
• Develop conviction, based on insights, and know how to express it in sizing consistent with portfolio objectives.

Education/Experience:

• 7-10 years experience as Portfolio Manager and Analyst
• BA Degree required
• · Master’s Degree and CFA preferred

For NY and CA based candidates, the salary range for this role is $185,000.00 - $225,000.00. Actual offers are based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position is eligible for cash incentive providing the potential to earn more.
