Job Description
As part of ET Portfolio Planning, you will play a key role in transitioning JPMorgan Chase & Co. to a customer-centric, agile software development organization. JPMC is embarking upon a large transformation program sponsored by our Global CIO across the Enterprise Platforms across 18K employees. Providing the right enabling tools to the product owner, agility leads and product teams is a critical enabler for our product transformation to drive connectivity from strategy to execution, provide agile ways of working and create visibility across the teams.
You will be responsible for building a data capability to enhance the portfolio planning and investment governance process for Enterprise Technology Portfolio of $7Bn+ spend. You will help inform decision making towards the investment governance process in coordination with Finance & Business Management team. You will contribute to the creation of OKRs for the ET Product Lines and facilitate the design and execution of the Quarterly Business Review process.
This role is responsible for establishing a data driven discipline to discover current state, enhance the portfolio planning process, and scale the portfolio planning practices to all enabling technologies across Global Technology Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Technology Controls, Chief Technology Office and Corporate Technology.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Establish a data capability to support Portfolio Planning and management for $7Bn+ spend in Enabling Technology portfolio
  • Design and deploy a capability for data driven decision making and enhancing the investment governance process
  • Define, track and report the performance of ET product portfolio
  • Liaise with technology and finance & business management partners to derive and action portfolio insights

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • 10+ years' experience with integrating data sets across technology infrastructure, application, finance and risk
  • Relevant work experience to establish data driven insights for portfolio planning and investment governance
  • Hands on experience with:
    • Data visualization libraries (i.e. D3 or Chart.js)
    • Building APIs to send and receive data from a front-end application using frameworks such as Flask, Django, or ASP.NET Core
    • Manipulating and transforming data with Python
    • Querying relational databases and a strong understanding of data modeling concepts
    • Qlik, Tableau
  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
  • A strong understanding of Agile methods (e.g., SAFe); stakeholder management, risk management and operations
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills focused on transformation and promoting delivery of business value.
