About the Role:
The Halo Marketplace Sales Team is seeking to hire a Portfolio Advisory Consultant to partner with our Regional Vice Presidents focusing on RIAs and B/Ds. The individual will be expected to serve as a consultant providing portfolio construction guidance and consulting to the largest and fastest-growing advisory groups across the US.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Consult with top advisory teams to objectively improve their portfolio construction process, optimize existing models, and implement their best investment ideas.
• Combine quantitative portfolio analysis with qualitative insights to impactfully communicate with Halo clients and prospects.
• Leverage and optimize Halo's platform analytics and technology to generate investment insights.
• Build strong relationships with Halo's internal sales, product, and operations partners.
• This candidate must approach the role as a business owner and be accountable for fostering relationships across the firm.
• This person must have the ability to socialize best practices and solutions across the firm to aid in our growth and engagement goals.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bloomberg, Morningstar, and other analytics platforms.
• 5+ Years of related experience in financial services.
• Working knowledge interfacing with financial advisory clients is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to take risks, embrace and lead change, and determination to find creative solutions to problems.
• Passion for the industry and capital markets.
• Technical skills, including strong investment acumen with an understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and a detailed understanding of portfolio construction techniques and investment processes.
• Strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present investment material confidently to clients.
• Formal Education:
  1. Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business or a related discipline
  2. MBA/CFA/CAIA/CFP, or progress towards, is preferred
  3. Series 7 and 63 are required. Series 65 preferred
