Post Producer (Contract)

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a Post Producer to join our in-house production team. The Post Producer will support the Creative Producer to produce high-quality content within an accelerated time frame. The role requires a highly-organized and detail-oriented individual who can lead a team of editors/retouchers and has the ability to make critiques with a designer's eye. The ideal candidate is an expert in video post production, project management, and has working knowledge of photo retouching. Ruggable is based in Gardena, CA and the job requires someone who lives in the Los Angeles area.

This is a three month contract role with the possibility of extending or hiring on full time. 

What You’ll Do:

• Manage day-to-day photo and video post production pipeline, ensure drafts/revisions are on-time and meet final delivery deadlines.
• Optimize existing workflows and develop new workflows that eliminate bottlenecks.
• Establish best practices in post-production and manage remote editorial server to ensure teams are operating efficiently offsite.
• Brief projects to the post team and maintain excellent communication with stakeholders from start to finish.
• Scrutinize edits, graphic placement, color, audio mixing and export quality.
• Final color check of photo/video files against product images to make sure our products are shown true to color.
• Regularly update motion graphics templates and asset libraries for all platforms.

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

• 5+ years post production experience — in-house brand or creative agency, specifically someone who has experience in social ads. 
• Must have prior experience in leadership and managing direct reports.
• Must have an eye for design and be able to guide designers to make optimal design decisions for graphics placements, size, etc.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast pace environment, and be a strong communicator with offsite teams.
• Prior experience in project management and/or workflow optimization.

Preferred:

• Expert Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lumetri Color, After Effects, and Frame.io.
• Knowledge of Asana and SNS Remote Servers is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
