Powder Coat Painter Department Head

Crain Tools is seeking a Department Head candidate for a Powder Coat Painting department. A great opportunity for someone with powder coat painting experience! Work is performed on your feet all day and mostly in a paint booth while wearing a respirator and jumpsuit. The candidate will also help in production and drive occasionally locally. Duties include but not limited to: Schedule production. Maintain water chemistry. Maintain equipment. Quality control. Order parts, materials and supplies. Train helpers. Paint parts on a conveying system using powder paint. Load and unload parts from containers onto paint conveyor. Clean or sand parts as needed. Clean paint booth and department as needed. Work in production (sanding, pressing, punching etc.) Make Local deliveries in the Bay Area. Qualifying experience needed: Must have powder coat painting experience. Must be able to pass a Respiratory Physical. Must have valid California Drivers License. Able to work on your feet all day. Able to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally. Must be punctual and have good attendance. Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Pay & Benefits: $24 to start then $26 per hour after training.
