Power BI and SQL Expert

Your Role and Responsibilities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– **Power BI Development:**
– Extensive experience in designing developing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards.
– Proficiency in data modeling creating DAX measures and calculated columns.
– Expertise in Power Query for data transformation and manipulation.
– Ability to implement best practices for Power BI data visualization and user experience.
– Strong skills in DAX optimization for improving query performance and efficiency.
– Extensive use of external tools for Power BI such as DAX Studio Tabular Editor and ALM Toolkit.

– **SQL Database Management:**
– Advanced SQL skills including complex query writing optimization and performance tuning.
– Experience in developing and maintaining stored procedures views and functions.
– Strong understanding of relational database design and normalization.
– Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data extraction transformation and loading.

– **SAP Integration and Management:**
– In-depth experience with SAP systems particularly in integrating SAP data with Power BI and SQL databases.
– Proficiency in using SAP HANA SAP BW and SAP ECC for data extraction and analysis.
– Experience with SAP data models and structures.
– Ability to create and manage data connections between SAP and other data sources.

– **Data Integration and Management:**
– Experience in integrating data from multiple sources including on-premises and cloud databases.
– Ability to ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across reporting solutions.
– Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

– **General Technical Skills:**
– Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
– Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure AWS) for data storage and processing.
– Experience with other BI tools and platforms (e.g. Tableau SSRS) is a plus.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Preferably experience working directly with business area (communication to the customer and requirement gathering)
