Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote:Hybrid, 2-4 days a week.

Duration:12 months with potential to extend

Rate Range: $62/hr to $67/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1b

Power BI Developer for AppDev Platform Engineering team to work on Operational deliverables. Must have experience with Power BI reporting/dashboards & SQL Server.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data modelling, data transformation, and visualization components.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques to understand business requirements and translate them into effective visualizations. Build Reports and Business KPIs. Build KPI Scorecards and should be familiar with different Power BI visualization.
• Create rich, user-friendly, data intensive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Develop Power BI Reports using visuals such as Pie, Line Charts, Tree Map, Clustered Bar/column chart, Tabular and Matrix Reports with all different level filters. Create and manage complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs to support advanced analytics and business metrics.
• Should be able to connect Power BI to various data sources such Azure SQL database, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, File Systems (Excel, CSV) and other source systems.
• Experience with data preparation and transformation using Power Query (ETL - Extract, Transform, Load). Strong SQL skills for data retrieval, manipulation, and querying, create and Modify Database Objects.
• Works with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to understand the Power BI reporting and analysis requirements. Performs data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that drive business value.
• Design conceptual/logical data models, data flows and source to target mappings. Develops and maintains documentation for data models, and report definitions.
• Familiarity with data governance, data security, Implement security / access limitations in reports.
• Having familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, PBIRS is added advantage.
• Experience in Power BI Services, Publish, Share and Schedule Reports, Prepare Dataflow, Refresh Incremental Datasets. Manage and Maintain Workspaces and should be able to handle Deployment Pipelines. Resolve issues with data sources, queries, and report performance.
