What's The Job?

We are searching for aPower BI Developer to join our York, PA teamwho would be responsible for designing and developing BI solutions, analyzing data, and creating visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements, develop data models, and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

What Will I Be Doing?

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:

• Power BI development and administration
• Building Analysis Services reporting models
• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop
• Implement data visualization best practices to deliver intuitive and actionable dashboards
• Manager Power BI production deliverables throughout the year
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for BI
• Assist in the design and implementation of business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
• Provide insight based on data sources and contributes to development of future data enhancements.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst and act as a resource for their projects.
• Participate in meetings and manage frequent communications with other members within the organization.
• Stay up - to date with the latest Power BI features and advancements to continuously enhance the organizations reporting capabilities.
• Implement row-level security on data and apply security layer models in Power BI.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their utilization of Power BI

What Makes Me Qualified?

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analytics tool developing Reporting and Dashboards
• Minimum of 3 years of Reporting and Analytics experience using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modeling, RLS
• Ability to build robust dashboards, write DAX expressions, and also implement security
• Minimum of 5 years in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferrable SQL Server
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certified a plus
• Expert SQL skills
• Proficient in making DAX queries.
• Experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio
