We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Power BI Developer to join the Information Technology team.
This position can be 100% remote/virtual.
YOUR TEAM.
The Power BI Developer will be part of the Technology team and will be responsible for the creation of PowerBI reports and datasets, report builder reports and supporting the business in the use of Power BI.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Working with business users, solutions architects, and business analysts to understand the requirements for new reports
- Creating new Power BI/Report Builder reports
- Perform QA on reports to ensure correct data
- Implementing changes/supporting existing reports
- Assist business users with using published reports/dashboards
- Communicating effectively with team and business users about projects
- Clearly and effectively documenting code
- Work independently as a remote employee and effectively manage time to meet team and project deadlines
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have:
- A qualified candidate is an expert in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Report Builder with deep knowledge of the technical and functional aspects of the supporting the Power BI environment; has a strong background in data analytics/business intelligence.
- 3-5 years of experience creating reports with Power BI and Report builder, using a variety of data sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, oData, SSAS, dataflows)
- Associate's, Bachelor's (or higher) degree in a computer or business-related field (Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Data analytics experience
- Experience with data preparation
- Knowledge of relational data modelling concepts
- Read, write, and speak English fluently and communicate effectively.

- Python/R a plus
Skills
- Ability to collaboration with team and Business user to develop new reports
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to translate raw data from various sources into meaningful reports
- Understanding of dimensional modelling concepts
- Ability to perform own QA/testing
- Ability to research discrepancies in report output and user expectation
