Power BI Developer

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Data Modeling: Create and manage data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Data Integration: Connect to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud services, and ensure data quality and consistency.
• DAX Functions: Utilize advanced DAX functions to perform complex calculations and data transformations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
• Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and best practices for Power BI development.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
• Data Management: Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and team members.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools like Qlik,Tableau or SAP.
• Familiarity with scripting and programming languages.
