3+ years work experience in Power BI Developer role
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with agile delivery models
• Proficient in gathering requirements, interpreting technical specifications, and designing comprehensive solutions
• Must Possess strong analytical, development and user interface design skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Must be highly motivated, self-starting, and committed to achieve results and have a strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution
• Ability to reverse engineer existing Power BI reporting solutions from the visualization to data source layer

• Very good business written and verbal communication skills
• Requirement / Technical / Delivery / Test Cases / Knowledge transfer & Hand over
• Troubleshoot issues and internal power user coordination for issue resolution
• Awareness of Enterprise and Citizen Development models

Job responsibilities:

• Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Connect to data sources to import data or consumption using Direct Query, and transform data for Business intelligence
• Semantic model development using star schema model with in-depth understanding of table relationships
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
• Experience in unit testing for data reconciliation from data source, semantic and report layer
• Implementation of row-level security on data with comprehension of application security layer models in Power BI
• Optimize semantic models and reports for efficiency and performance
• Migrate and redefine data sources and semantic models as needed
• Intermediate to advanced experience with creation of DAX queries in Power BI desktop
• Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the semantic model
• Creation and use of Power BI Data Flows to create semantic models
• Understanding of Power BI query folding to support incremental refresh and direct query
