Power BI/Reporting Specialist

FIS Ambit Risk & Performance solutions is seeking a Power BI Senior Business Analyst with strong skills to join our Belgrade based Ambit BancWare team working on a variety of financial engineering projects for asset/liability management and interest rate and liquidity risk product offerings.

We are looking for a talented PowerBI Senior Business Analyst to help support our growing business unit’s success.

What you will be doing:

This role will support application of Microsoft Power BI across the business unit to build new solutions for reporting and analytics, including model development, data visualizations, and governance.

Support internal stakeholders to enhance the BI capabilities of our own products offered to customers and prospects:

• Work with our presales, professional services, and product groups to iteratively build prototypes and designs of new dashboards and visualizations
• Collaborate with, cross train and guide presales groups and professional services groups to strengthen their ability to build advanced prototypes, and vice versa
• Work with the product development teams to convert presales prototypes into production caliber capabilities, including optimized workflow, user experience and performance

Support internal stakeholders to improve internal processes:

• Understand current reporting processes, identify and suggest alternative approaches for efficiency gains and enhanced processes and reporting
• Hands-on build new PowerBI dashboarding, data visualization and process optimization and automation tools
• Serve as an internal expert for Power BI:
  • Continually research new features and capabilities
  • Continually cross train and guide other members of the team to improve their abilities, and vice versa

What you bring:

• Min of 5 years hands-on expertise in creating Power BI dashboarding, including strong familiarity with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
• Strong knowledge of data manipulation and reporting workflow techniques, analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics
• Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• Knowledge of Power Automate/Power Apps preferred
