We are looking for a Power Platform Developer to join our tech client’s cloud platform team. This is a 100% remote role.

Would you like to…

• Determine business data reporting and analysis requirements, working with business units to answer key business questions; and identify new data requirements, analysis strategies, and reporting mechanisms including key performance indicators (KPI).
• Collaborate effectively with and supports internal end-users, cross-functional software development teams, technical support and/or sustaining engineering teams to solve problems, implement new solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards of system availability and reliability.
• Build data warehousing systems for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Design and develop dashboards, alerts, and business reports to internal and external teams for business decision making
• Data administration, modeling, and integration activities in data warehouse systems
• Analyze key metrics, data findings, error reporting, and performance management control; test solutions and resolve issues; design conceptual, logical, and physical data models; build and maintain multiple databases; and provide analytical support
• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes, possibly using SQL stored procedures and/or SSIS packages.
• Manipulate and mine data from database tables, such as SQL server, Oracle, Data Warehouse, and FC log files.
• Write scripts that identify gaps in processes, giving the team the ability to solve issues with the identified root cause analysis.
• Recommend enhancements and modifications to optimize business intelligence processes.
• Educate and train business units to use the data as an analytical tool, displaying the information in new forms and content for the purpose of analysis and option exploration
• Work on medium to complex and cross-functional IT and business intelligence solutions
• May perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various platforms.
• Research business problems and creates models that help analyze these business problems.

We would like you to have…

• 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, PowerApps and Power Automate is required
• Experience with SQL and Kusto queries with the ability to write complex queries
• Familiarity Power BI design capability
• Fluent with Power BI Online with real world experience designing, developing, AND deploying content packs to enable access for remote reports
• Fluent in DAX with experience developing compound measures
• Fluent with Power Query M
• Experience with data acquisition from COSMOS (Azure Data Lake)
• Able to develop complex Apps in Azure or PowerApps platforms
• Able to write complex logics in Azure Logics or Power Automate platforms
• Able to develop custom processes in Azure DevOps
• From a language skill perspective: UX wise: Java script variants (TS, React, Angular) HTML, etc. Platform wise: Apache Storm and Python apps running in Kubernetes containers on Azure Linux VMs
• Ability to create simple, concise documentation that is accurate and executable, and maintain documentations for all business intelligence processes
