Power Platform/Dynamics 365 Senior Architect

Planet Technologies, the Nation’s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as a Power Platform/Dynamics 365 Senior Architect. In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that benefit our country.

This role will lead a team of mid-to-senior developers, determine and architect cloud-based solutions and work directly with the customer as the subject matter expert/advisor to design and modernize business applications. This role would serve as the technical expert on executive-level projects, provide technical and business explanations and justifications for architectural, design, and coding approaches.

Responsibilities

• The senior developer will be the technical team lead for a scrum team to implement, support, and enhance custom applications using Dynamics 365 and Power Apps Model Driven frameworks, as well as develop D365 solutions (out of the box product features, custom development and/or use of third-party tools) for business needs such as case management and task management. 
• Utilize best practices in managing the administration and security of the Power Platform – Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365.
• Utilize connectors, leverage the AI Builder, design Power BI dashboards, build canvas apps, build Power Apps portals, and leverage Power Automate to create business process flows. 

Skills Required

• At least 10 years of total IT experience performing complex application development projects on the Microsoft stack working closely with cross-functional Team Members in Agile Development environment. 
• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience with Dynamics 365 / CRM and Power Platform. 
• In-depth hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services. 
• In-depth hands-on knowledge of Canvas and Model Driven applications and Dataverse. 
• Hands-on experience architecting solutions that involve Dynamics customization to include server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies and plug-ins. 
• Experience with customizing the web client and Dynamics 365 for Microsoft Office Outlook. 
• Experience with data and document migration. 
• Experience with Microsoft products or development technologies including JavaScript, .NET, HTML5 and JQuery. 
• Experience with 3rd party products or technologies including XRMToolBox, XRMToolKit.
• Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language. 
• Ability to organize information in a logical and consistent fashion. 
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Responsive in reporting new sales opportunities when engaged with the customer. 
• Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills. 
• Experience working in an Agile with Scrum environment. 
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Security including Azure Network Security Groups, Azure Front Door, Azure Private Endpoints, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage Accounts is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Pages with an emphasis on Power Pages Liquid Code is a plus.
• Experience with implementation and security of Azure Function Apps is a plus.

Essentials

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration or equivalent work experience. 
• Certifications: PL-200 or PL-400 AND MB-210, MB-220, MB-230, MB-240.
• Clearance: Active Public Trust is required.
• This role requires at least 5+ years of relevant working experience including expertise in enterprise implementation as well as application deployment and/or distributed system implementation and relational productivity applications.
