Overview

Electric Power Engineers, LLC (Austin, TX) seeks Power Systems Engineer III. Research, design, and study of electrical equipment, components, and systems for power system engineering. Perform system protection and coordination studies involving distributed energy resources and distribution automation schemes. Perform system modeling and fault analysis for relay device coordination studies and arc flash studies. Perform advanced studies for distribution utility scale microgrids. Perform protection studies, calculations, and compliance verification for power plants. Review protective relay operations and system outages, identifying system disturbances and providing resolutions to operational control problems. Req: M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related/equivalent. Two years as an Electrical Engineer or related. Two years of experience with ETAP, SKM Power Tools, PSCAD, Easy Power, and AcSELerator Quickset required. Licensure not required. Telecommuting allowed. Send resumes to: [email protected]
